We welcome your participation in our Ginger Snaps Baby of the Month Contest. Upload a jpeg picture of your baby along with the completed information form below. The picture with the most votes from site visitors will win a $50 Ginger Snaps Baby Gift Certificate! Remember that …
- Each site visitor can vote only once, so urge your friends & family to vote for your baby. We will even send out notices for you.
- One photo entry per person per month.
- The child must be 0-36 months of age.
- Only non-professional photos taken within the last six months.
- There is no purchase necessary to participate. All photos which meet the contest rules will be accepted. See the bottom of this page for a full list of rules .
- All photos must be in jpg format with the file size under 100K

GINGER SNAPS BABY OF THE MONTH CONTEST RULES
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
- In order to participate in our Ginger Snaps Baby of the Month contest, you have to:
- Be a registered member of www.GingerSnapsBaby.com.
- Be an adult of 18 years of age or older.
- Be a legal parent or guardian of the baby entering the contest.
- Read and accept our “Baby of the Month” rules.
- All photos must be in jpg format. Keep the file size under 750K. We will not be able to resize or crop anyone's photos. The ideal size image is 350x400 pixels.
- All entrants who appear on the pictures must be 0-36 months of age.
- The only person in the photograph must be the one baby entered.
- All photos should have been taken within the last six months.
- You may only upload or submit pictures once per month. Only photos that have not been previously voted upon will be posted and eligible.
- Votes and photos will be accepted from the beginning of every calendar month until the last day of the month.
- Due to copyright restrictions the individual professional photographer may have in place we can not allow professional photos to be entered into the contest. If you are unclear if your photo was taken professionally, the general rule is if you paid someone to take the photo (Sears, Olan Mills, etc.) it is considered professionally taken. Unfortunately we can not verify ownership of every photo, so if your picture *appears* to have been taken professionally, regardless if it actually was or not, we will not be able to accept it.
- Ginger Snaps Baby reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject and disqualify any nude, obscene, profane, offensive, lewd or pornographic subjects or photos, or any entry which Ginger Snaps Baby, in its sole discretion, determines to be inconsistent with its editorial standards and audience expectations.
- Winners are chosen by the number of unique votes a baby's picture receives from site visitors and members. Each visitor/member can vote only ONCE as soon as the photograph is uploaded. Each computer connected to the Internet has an IP address, a combination of numbers that can uniquely identify your PC. As soon as you vote, we consider it a unique vote, which goes towards a specific photograph. You cannot revoke the vote once voted, so be careful in choosing your favorite picture. It is certainly in your best interest to urge your friends & family to vote for your baby every day from different PCs. On the last day of each month a winner is chosen by a system based on number of votes received.
- Winners are posted on the home page of Ginger Snaps Baby within three business days of contest’s end. The winner is sent an email immediately informing him/her of the great news. The winner will be featured on www.GingerSnapsBaby.com for a month and will receive a $50 gift certificate towards a Ginger Snaps Baby purchase. The certificate will be delivered within 1 week from the close of the contest.
- Winners of a monthly contest must allow two months to pass before being eligible to participate in another contest. For example, if your child won the contest in May, the next month you can submit his/her picture would be August.
- If your baby photograph did not win the contest for the month it was entered, you may enter the next contest. You do not have to wait to try again.
- You will be notified via email when your picture has been uploaded. Please be sure to add custserv@gingersnapsbaby.com to your address book so that you can receive our emails. The review process can take up to three (3) business days. If your photo is not accepted you may enter again immediately with a different picture.
- Only the Name, City and State will be displayed next to each contender’s picture. Ginger Snaps Baby does not share any of its contender’s personal information, which is required to be filled in when entering the contest. This information may be used to send you the Winning Gift Certificate in case your baby is chosen by contest voters. You will also receive an occasional email about our current contenders, winners and promotions.
- By entering the Contest, entrants agree to permit Ginger Snaps Baby to use the photos in any media for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of Ginger Snaps Baby without compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entrants who do not agree to this use should not enter this Contest.
- Ginger Snaps Baby assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures or lost e-mail entries. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel Contest if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention.
- By participating, entrants release Ginger Snaps Baby from any and all liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Contest or any prize awarded.
